  • 8oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 2oz. blue cheese (crumbled)
  • 3 large Medjool Dates (pitted)
  • 2Tbsp. monced green onions
  • 2Tbsp. finely diced celery
  • 2 Tbsp. finely diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup finely diced jicama
  • chopped dates for garnish

Crispy Crackers

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup Grapenut Cereal
  • 2 Tbsp. Date sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper




In a food processor, combine pitted dates and cream cheese.  Pulse until well blended.  Add blue cheese and green onion.  Pulse until smooth.  Turn mixture into small bowl and stir in celery, carrot and jicama.  Chill well before serving.  Garnish with chooped dates.

Crispy Crakers

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  In medium bowl, combine flour, butter, date sugar and caynne.  Mix until resembles crumbs.  Add remaining ingredients, stirring until a lighly crumbly dough forms.  On a lightly floured surface, roll out 1/4 of dough at a time into a 10" round and cut into wedges (or use a biscut cutter for round crakers). Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, bake for 15 minutes.  Serve with your favorite appetizer or enjoy the cracker by themselves.
