Ingredients

  • 1 recipe of your favorite yeast bread recipe
  • 2 cups Deglet Noor Dates, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Asiago Cheese
  • Sea Salt
  • Olive Oil
  • Cornmeal

Instructions

  1. Let yeast bread rise, punch down the dough and knead in the sliced dates.
  2. Let dough rise again, punch down and divide in half.
  3. Coat two baking sheets with olive oil and lightly with cornmeal.
  4. Roll out the dough and place on baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. cheese.
  6. Lightly sprinkle with sea salt.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

Makes two flatbreads, 8 servings per flatbread.
